One lane of traffic gets by on southbound Interstate 5 in Seattle after someone jumped from an overpass on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008.

SEATTLE – Traffic was virtually shut down on Interstate 5 in the University District Wednesday morning after a person jumped off the NE 50th Street overpass.

The incident happened at about 10:30 a.m.

Video shows several fire engines and police vehicles on the scene.
