Traffic backs up on Aurora Avenue North in Seattle after a five vehicle accident blocked the southbound lanes in the Battery Street Tunnel on Tuesday, May 13, 2008.
SEATTLE – A reported five vehicle accident shut down the southbound lanes of the Battery Street Tunnel Tuesday afternoon.
Seattle Police say there were at least two cars and two trucks blocking, but other reports say five vehicles were involved.
Nobody was hurt.
Traffic had to be diverted onto Denny Way.
