CLACKAMAS, Ore. - A man was tazed inside the Clackamas Town Center packed with holiday shoppers late Tuesday morning, police said.
The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office said the man, who has mental health issues, was riding in a car with his with father when he jumped out of the moving car near the mall.
The man then ran into the Clackamas Town Center where he "engaged" with a deputy, who ended up tazing him to get him under control.
After he was tazed, the suspect’s health began to deteriorate and he was given medical attention at the scene.
The mall was not closed or evacuated during the brief incident, which occurred on the south side, near the Chili’s restaurant, the sheriff's office said.
