OREGON CITY, Ore. -- A woman who was two-months pregnant was killed in a high-speed crash in Oregon City Saturday night and three other people were injured, police said.

The crash happened just after 9:30 p.m., at the intersection of Linn Avenue and Ethel, in a residential area.

Police said 22-year-old Fernando Deanda Moreno was speeding when he ran a stop sign at the intersection of Linn Ave and Davis in Oregon City.

Moreno’s Toyota 4-Runner slammed into a Toyota Camry. Inside the Camry were 22-year-old William Sargent and his 26-year-old fiancé, Kay Blaser.

Blaser was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said she was two-months pregnant. Sargent injured his collar bone, neck and back. He was taken by helicopter to Oregon Health and Science University.

Deanda Moreno was also taken to OHSU for evaluation. There were two other people in his SUV. One was injured, one was not.

Investigators of the Clackamas County Major Crime Teams said Deanda Moreno was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.

After being released from the hospital, he was arrested on charges of Manslaughter and two counts of Assault. He was being held on $750,000 bail.
