Bob Amundson of North Cove landed this daily derby winner out of Westport on Thursday Aug 26th. It was the last fish of the day and what a fish! Weighed in the round it was 44 1/2 LBS and dressed out at 40 LBS even, to be 6 ounces shy of the biggest fish of August. Chinook fishing will end here in Westport after Sunday August 28th, but we will continue fishing for Coho Salmon seven days per week until September 18th.
