Clint Dempsey will make his home debut Sunday night in a match between the Sounders and their Northwest rivals, the Portland Timbers.

An estimated 67,000 fans will pack into CenturyLink Field, marking a franchise record for attendance.

Ross Fletcher, the voice of the Sounders, joined KING 5 Friday morning to talk about the upcoming game.

"It's not often the Sounders get 67,000 fans for a home game, but then you bring in one of the greatest U.S. players of all time to make his home debut, to get a glimpse for the first time in Seattle of Clint Dempsey. It just is magic. It's going to be absolutely fantastic," said Fletcher.
