LONDON (AP) — Everton routed fourth-tier Cheltenham 5-1 Monday night and will play Sunderland or Bolton in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Nikica Jelavic scored from close range in the 12th minute, and Leighton Baines converted a penalty kick in the 21st.
Leon Osman made it 3-0 in the 49th, and Russell Penn scored for the hosts two minutes later, beating American goalkeeper Tim Howard.
Seamus Coleman scored on a lob in the 58th and Marouane Fellaini, who was involved in both Everton's early goals, got the final goal in the 89th.
