SEATTLE – Seattle Seahawks offensive tackle Jarriel King was arrested in South Carolina last month for an alleged sexual assault.
WCBD-TV reports police in North Charleston arrested King, 24, and Arthur Lee Denson-Holmes, 26, on third degree criminal sexual conduct charges.
A warrant released Monday alleges the two men forced sex on a 25-year-old woman Feb. 26 after coming home from a nightclub.
Police allege the woman had been drinking liquor and smoking marijuana with King and Holmes. Police say the woman eventually became light headed and fell down on a bed. That’s where, police say, King and Holmes removed her clothes and sexually assaulted her despite her telling them to stop.
King and Holmes reportedly both posted $25,000 bond after their arrests.
The Seahawks have released King.
King, who played college football at the University of South Carolina, started one game for the Seahawks last season.
