While most ‘experts’ think the Saints will triumph over Seattle, many not holding back their disdain that a losing football team can not only make the playoffs but host another team, most of those experts also don’t like the chances of the Saints defending their Super Bowl title. In fact the oddsmakers have the Pats and Falcons as favorites and the Saints at 10-1.

ESPN’s Jeffri Chadiha flat out says the Saints won’t repeat, while his colleague, Pat Yasinskas, says the road will be tough.

CBS Sports’ Clark Judge , among his many thoughts, says Saints fans shouldn’t worry about the loss to the Bucs. Mike Florio of NBC Sports, says the Seahawks won’t be an easy out. He cites the long travel, the Saints injuries, Seattle’s rabid crowd and the fact that they’ll get ticked with everyone saying they shouldn’t be there.

CNNSI’s Don Banks says there could be a real move afoot to change the NFL seeding and that if that had been in place this year, the Saints might have just had a home game this weekend, they might have had a bye.

Seattle PI’s Jim Moore says you can expect little word from Pete Carroll on who’ll play quarterback as he tries to get an edge. He’ll have nothing on our local head coach as Sean Payton probably won’t even confirm that certain guys are hurting. These guys need to take up poker.
