College record: 34-24-1; NFL record: 102-63, 3 Super Bowl championships -- After serving as an NFL assistant, Walsh spent two years coaching the Stanford Cardinal, then made the move to back to the pros with the San Francisco 49ers. The rest is … well, you know the cliché. With Joe Montana under center. Walsh coached the Niners to three Super Bowl championships. He made a brief return to Stanford for another three-year run before retiring from coaching.
