This music video starring the lights of CenturyLink Field is quickly gaining popularity, reaching nearly 200,000 views on YouTube by Wednesday morning.
Seattlepi.com reports San Francisco-based director Jimmy Diebold shot this video last September using cameras stationed around the stadium and as far away as Pike Place Market. It debuted Jan. 31.
Diebold’s crew, with the help of a CenturyLink Field employee, had to come up with creative sequences to turn the lights on and off in order to get all the shots they needed in one night. The lights take about 30 minutes to warm up. The sequences you see in the video are not the same order in which they were shot.
The music is “Midnight City” by M83.
