NEWARK — Denver Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker missed time with concussions this season.
But if it were up to him, Welker said at Tuesday's Super Bowl media day, he'd choose to play in Sunday's title game against the Seattle Seahawks even if doctors wanted to hold him out.
"What do you think?" Welker said, answering a question from former teammate Randy Moss, who works for FOXSports1.
"You know. You want to be out there. It's the Super Bowl. Like, this is what you dream about. You're gonna be there. I don't care what it takes."
Welker, 32, missed the last three games of the Broncos season but has appeared in both playoff contests wearing a special helmet.
