Seahawks' win doesn't have major impact in most power rankings

A roundup of NFL Power Rankings ahead of Week 5.

Who’s No 1? Broncos

What they said: “Lost in the Rams' upset of the Cardinals, the Bills thrashing of the Patriots, and Ben Roethlisberger heaving about 18 touchdown passes ... Russell Wilson put on quite a show just across the Hudson River from Broadway. Wilson carried the Seahawks on his back for as long as he needed to -- until the defense forced Ryan Fitzpatrick to look like Ryan Fitzpatrick -- hitting 23 of 32 passes for 309 yards and three touchdowns. Peering closer into that stat line, the hobbled QB averaged nearly 10 yards every time the football left his hand. Tell you what, Seahawks fans: With that kind of aerial showing, and a top-shelf defense, it's time for Jägerbomb."

Who’s No 1? Broncos

What they said: “The Seahawks have played four games this season and in each game, their opponents have failed to score 20 points. If this pace keeps up, Seattle could allow the fewest points for the fifth consecutive season."

Who’s No 1? Patriots

What they said: “Jimmy Graham has posted consecutive 100-yard receiving games for first time since 2013. Looks like he's fully healthy and finally integrated."

Who’s No 1? Broncos

What they said: “Russell Wilson looked like he could barely move in pregame warm-ups.

But count him out at your own risk. The Seahawks quarterback had one of his best throwing days ever against a defense that's tooled to hit quarterbacks. They weren't ready when Wilson hit back.

Richard Sherman wasn't ready for the back-shoulder fade…at first. Then he made the adjustments like any great player would and sideswiped two Jets throws.

The rest of the Seahawks defense did its part. Seattle is for real, and I probably underestimated it in weeks past.”

Who’s No. 1? Patriots

What they said: “ Is Russell Wilson ready to go on another hot streak? Despite still dealing with some injuries, he was on fire against the Jets. He was 23 of 32 for 309 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. And many of his throws could not have been any more accurate. He threw touchdowns to Tanner McEvoy (the incredibly rare “former Wisconsin quarterback to former Wisconsin quarterback” connection) and C.J. Spiller, who was signed off the street a few days before. It’s games like Sunday that serve as a reminder: The Seahawks are one of the best teams in football, without any doubt."

What they said: “They looked like a real Super Bowl contender against the Jets. That's the Seahawks we expected to see this season.”

Who’s No 1? Broncos

What they said: "The Seahawks just love playing at MetLife Stadium.  After a slow start to the year, the Seahawks offense is starting to resemble the one we all expected when the year began.  Now they have a bye week to get Russell Wilson back to full health.  The chemistry between Russell Wilson and Jimmy Graham is far better now than it was at any point last year.  This is why the Seahawks gave up a first round pick to go and get the electric tight end."
