Boise State unveils statue of legendary coach Lyle Smith

The statue was unveiled during a private event.

Boise State University unveiled a statue of legendary head football coach Lyle Smith today.

Smith who turned 100 years old back in March is the school's all-time wins leader.

Dozens were on hand for today's private event.

"A few years ago, President Kaiser phrased a little saying...it's a privilege to be a Bronco, and I find it's a real privilege," Smith said.

The statue is located near the Allen Noble Hall of Fame at Albertsons Stadium.
