MILAN — Philippe Gilbert of Belgium has won the Tour of Lombardy one-day cycling race after beating Samuel Sanchez of Spain in a sprint finish.
Gilbert finished the 150-mile road race in 5 hours, 43 minutes, 46 seconds on Saturday for his fourth straight victory.
Alexander Kolobnev won a four-way sprint for third place, finishing four seconds behind Gilbert and Sanchez. Luca Paolini of Italy was fourth.
Alexandre Vinokourov of Kazakhstan finished seventh as he continues his comeback from a two-year doping ban.
