The Tacoma Rainers will announce their new owners Monday morning. Sources close to the team confirm to KING 5 that Mikal Thomsen will be leading a group of local investors. The Tacoma native is the founder of Bellevue based investment group Trilogy Equity Partners. He was also a part of the Sonics ownership group that sold the team to Clay Bennett. The Rainers were last sold in 2006 to a group that included singer Nick Lachey.
