SEATTLE – Mariners fans will have a new way to get to Safeco Field starting Saturday morning.
The Washington State Department of Transportation will open a new westbound off-ramp from Interstate 5 and Interstate 90 that connects directly to the S. Atlantic Street/Edgar Martinez Drive S. overpass.
That will mean quicker access to the Safeco Field parking garage.
The ramp opens at 5 a.m. Saturday
Last week, a new walking bridge was unveiled that keeps fans from having to cross over the railroad tracks next to the stadium.
