EVERETT, Wash. – Baseball's spring training doesn't officially start for a couple of weeks, but some major and minor leaguers are already in full workout mode at an Everett gym that goes by the nickname the "Rage Cage."

Trainer Jeff Millet created the facility, officially known as Northcore Performance.

He met Travis Snider, a Jackson High School graduate and member of the Toronto Blue Jays, in Arizona. The two talked about building a one-stop conditioning spot in Western Washington.

It enables Snider and Brent Lillibridge -- another Jackson High grad and a member of the Chicago White Sox – plus other local minor leaguers to work out at home during the winter.

Millet says he plans on expanding his business in March and add a larger gym in north Seattle.
