Gig Harbor tight end, Austin Seferian-Jenkins, will play college football at Washington.  He picked the Huskies over Texas.

Seferian-Jenkins said, "We're going to go get Rose Bowls and National Championship.  I firmly believe that."

He can sign an official letter-of-intent in February.

Seferian-Jenkins was recently rated the No. 3 tight end in the country, and a five-star recruit by scout.com.    Rivals.com has him as the top tight end in the country and the No. 1 recruit in the state.

Austin says he also wants to play basketball for the Huskies.  He adds he will graduate from Gig Harbor HS in March, and be ready for spring ball with the Dawgs.
