A Whitman county judge dismisses marijuana possession charges against Cougar forward DeAngelo Casto. The evidence against Casto was illegally obtained by Pullman Police.
Casto was cited last month. Here's how it allegedly went down. The officer said he was patrolling an area when he noticed a screen missing on an apartment window. The officer looked into an apartment and allegedly saw someone rolling a joint. When the officer knocked on the apartment door, Casto came out. The officer asked Casto for the weed. He obliged and was cited.
The former Coug says he's relieved it was over. Casto has left the university to prepare for the NBA draft.
