SEATTLE - Washington free safety Justin Glenn will miss the rest of the season after breaking his right fibula and tearing some ligaments in his ankle in the Huskies' loss to Notre Dame.
Glenn was injured early in the second half of the Huskies' 37-30 overtime loss to the Irish when a teammate crashed into his leg. Coach Steve Sarkisian said Monday that further examination revealed the ligament problem and Glenn will have surgery this week.
Glenn moved from cornerback to safety after the season opener and proved a sure tackler at the back end of the Huskies defense.
Sarkisian also said that strong safety Nate Williams and wide receiver D'Andre Goodwin, who both suffered concussions in overtime, should be able to play Saturday against Arizona.
