SEATTLE - The World Cup kicked off early Friday morning and people in Seattle are ready to celebrate.

About 50 people were lined up outside The George and Dragon pub in Fremont -- most of them were wearing colors supporting their favorite team.

The first World Cup Game, which is being held in South Africa, started at 7 a.m. Pacific Time.

Bradley Howe, the owner of the Kangaroo and Kiwi pub on Aurora Avenue says that the every-four-years World Cup is always very big business.
Bars, pubs and restaurants around Seattle are ready to open whatever time the Cup is playing. And it appears that there will plenty of fans ready to play, too!
