When are Northwest teams playing in college basketball postseason?

Here are the Northwest college basketball teams playing this week in postseason tournaments. All times are Pacific Daylight Time.

Men's

NCAA Tournament – East Region

  • First Round: (11) Washington def. (6) Marquette, 80-78
  • Next: (11) Washington vs. (3) New Mexico
  • Saturday, 2:50 p.m.

 

NCAA Tournament – West Region

  • (8) Gonzaga (26-6) vs. (9) Florida State (22-9)
  • Friday, 4:10pm
  • Winner faces (1) Syracuse vs. (16) Vermont winner on Sunday, time TBA

 

College Basketball Invitational

  • Boston University def. Oregon State, 96-78 in first round

 

CollegeInsider.com Tournament

  • Northern Colorado def. Portland, 81-73 in first round

 

Women's

NCAA Tournament – Sacramento Region

  • (15) Portland State (18-14) vs. (2) Texas A&M (25-7)
  • Saturday, 5:06 p.m., Seattle
     
  • (7) Gonzaga (27-4) vs. (10) North Carolina (19-11)
  • Saturday, 7:30 p.m., Seattle

Winners face each other on Monday, March 22, time TBA.

 

Women's National Invitation Tournament

  • First Round: Oregon def. Eastern Washington, 95-66
  • Next: New Mexico at Oregon
  • Tuesday, 7 p.m.

Women's Basketball Invitational

  • First Round: (3) Washington def (6) Portland, 75-44
  • Next: (3) Washington at (2) Texas A&M-Corpus Christi
  • Sunday, 2 p.m.
  • Winner moves on to semifinals
