The Seahawks will try to sign Russell Wilson, Richard Sherman and Earl Thomas to long-term deals in the next couple of years. If they can only afford two, who do you want them to sign?
It doesn’t matter if it’s at CenturyLink Field or if it’s at the new Levi’s Stadium. You should bank on it that the Seattle Seahawks vs. San Francisco 49ers will be the most expensive ticket in the NFL this coming season, according to Forbes.com.
All three of their matchups last year were among the most expensive games, which should be no surprise since this is currently the best rivalry in the NFL.
The average prices in 2013:
- $426.58: Week 2 in Seattle
- $531.17: Week 14 in San Francisco
- $791.40: NFC Championship in Seattle
Forbes also predicts that the Seahawks hosting the Denver Broncos in a Super Bowl rematch will be the second-most expensive ticket of the season. The Green Bay Packers at the Seahawks ranked No. 5 on the list. Many are predicting that one of those two games will be the season opener on Thursday, Sept. 4, at CenturyLink Field.
