The Super Bowl's six days away across the Hudson in New Jersey, but in New York and Times Square, the party's started and is about to get crazy.
They're preparing to shut down car traffic for 13 blocks along Broadway for what they're calling the "Super Bowl Boulevard."
Starting Wednesday, fans will be able to ride a toboggan in the middle of mid-town there are going to be live music performances you can even get your picture taken with the Lombardi Trophy the very one the Seahawks hope to take home to Seattle next week.
We haven't seen a lot of Seahawks fans yet, but we met one that may have come the farthest for the game. Shane Donoghue lives in Melbourne, Australia. His mother is from Vancouver British Columbia so as a kid he went to Seahawk games at the Kingdome and says he's still a huge fan. Now he works for a sports radio station in Australia so he's in New York, all expenses paid.
"It's a dream come true for me,” he said. “I'm a passionate Seahawks fan and to be able to not only come to New York for work but to come to New York for the Super Bowl and the Seahawks are playing … it's a dream come true. You've got no idea."
I told him not to work to hard and to enjoy his trip and he said "no worries."
