The Carolina Panthers scored a touchdown for the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday afternoon.

Carolina upset the 49ers in San Francisco 10-9, dropping the Niners to 6-3 on the season.  That means they are also 2 1/2 games behind the Seahawks for the NFC West Division lead.

The Seahawks have six games left to play in the regular season, and are trying to secure the top seed in the NFC, and home field advantage in the playoffs.

The Seahawks improved to 9-1 on the year after defeating the Atlanta Falcons earlier in the day.

The 49ers lost tight end Vernon Davis and rookie safety Eric Reid to concussions.
