Pacific Lutheran University opened up their baseball season today with Max Beatty on the mound. Beatty missed last season, while he battled cancer, but today he was back, cancer free pitching for the Lutes. Baseball America recently named Beatty as one of their top division III prospects. King 5's Chris Egan caught up with Max and PLU head coach Geoff Loomis after the game.
