SEATTLE - The track meet-pace most expect No. 14 Washington to play at this season will make its debut on Wednesday night when the Huskies play Division II Central Washington in their only exhibition game.

But while wanting to play fast both on offense and defense, the Huskies say it's not going to be all chaos on the floor.

Lone senior Quincy Pondexter says that the way Washington tries to push the tempo is based around playing smart and fundamental, and there will be times the Huskies slow things down and run sets to get good shots.

Still, with three dynamic guards in Venoy Overton, Isaiah Thomas and freshman Abdul Gaddy, this might be the fastest fleet of Huskies in Lorenzo Romar's tenure at Washington.
