SEATTLE - The US Women's National Team goalie and former UW star Hope Solo was arrested after an altercation at her sister's residence early Saturday.

Jail booking records show Hope Amelia Stevens, was booked into the South Correctional Regional Jail at 4:15 this morning on two counts of Domestic Violence in the 4th degree.  The booking record shows she is listed as having no bail.

Kirkland Police spokesman Lt. Mike Murphy said officers responded to a 911 call just after 1 am Saturday.

When officers arrived they heard sounds of a disturbance inside. They entered and contacted several people, including Solo.  Police said she appeared to be "intoxicated and upset."

At some point during the party, Solo allegedly assaulted her sister and nephew. Police said there were visible injuries on them.

Attorney Todd Maybrown emailed a statement on her behalf to The Associated Press. It says, "We look forward to the opportunity to present the true facts in court and to having this matter behind Hope very soon."

Hope Solo last had contact with the Kirkland Police back in 2012, when her husband, former UW football player, and Seahawk, Jerramy Stevens was arrested for assaulting her at another gathering at the home. The couple later got married.

Solo will appear in Kirkland Municipal Court on Monday.
