UNDATED (AP) — Washington State has hired Ernie Kent as its new men's basketball coach, giving him another shot at leading a Pac-12 Conference program four years after he was let go by Oregon. The Cougars made the announcement yesterday afternoon, after the sides agreed to a five-year contract. Kent replaces Ken Bone, who was fired on March 18.
SEATTLE (AP) — An attorney for suspended Washington quarterback Cyler Miles says he won't be charged after being investigated in an incident following the Super Bowl. Attorney Mike Hunsinger said he was informed that prosecutors did not have enough evidence to charge his client. The Seattle City Attorney's office said yesterday no charging decisions have been made and the school says Miles' status with the football program is the same.
