OREGON ST-OREGON

Oregon holds off Oregon State in 93-83 win

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Joseph Young scored 25 points as Oregon took a commanding lead early and held off archrival Oregon State for a 93-83 win on Sunday.

Mike Moser added 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds for Oregon (16-8, 4-8 Pac-12), which had five players in double figures.

Eric Moreland led Oregon State with 17 points and 10 rebounds, while Roberto Nelson scored 18 for the Beavers (13-11, 5-7 Pac-12). Oregon State now has lost three in a row.

The Ducks opened the game with 12-of-16 shooting from the floor and led 31-12 after a Jason Calliste 3-pointer at the 10:39 mark. Oregon went 7-7 on 3-pointers during the stretch, and took a 45-35 lead into the break.

Oregon State twice trimmed the lead to two points in the second half, the latter when Hallice Cooke sank two free throws to make the score 72-70 with 5:11 remaining.

WASHINGTON-UTAH

Plum helps Washington trip Utah 67-66

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Kelsey Plum scored 19 points, including three clutch free throws, as Washington pulled out a 67-66 win at Utah on Sunday.

Plum's free throws allowed the Huskies (15-10, 8-6 Pac 12) to survive a 3 from Chiera Dunbar with 2 seconds left for Utah (10-15, 3-11).

Jazmine Davis added 17 points for Washington, which made 19 of 24 free throws while the Utes were 3 of 5.

Michelle Plouffe scored 31 points for Utah, tying her career high, and grabbed 14 rebounds to give her 1,106 for her career, tying the school record.

Washington, which led 31-29 at the half, took the lead for good when Chantel Osahor's 3-pointer broke a 60-60 tie with 3:33 left. Plouffe's layup with 36 seconds to go made it 64-63. Plum made two free throws at 32 seconds and after Plouffe missed a 3, Plum rebounded and made 1 of 2 at 10 seconds.

WASHINGTON ST-COLORADO

Washington State edges Colorado 80-77

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) — Tia Presley scored 32 points for the second consecutive game leading Washington State to an 80-77 win over Colorado on Sunday.

Sage Romberg had 14 points and 12 rebounds for the Cougars (14-12, 8-6) with Lia Galderia adding 10 points, including four free throws in the final two minutes.

Jen Reese and reserve Jamee Swan had 19 each for the Buffaloes (14-11, 4-10) with Ashley Wilson adding 12.

Pressley had 22 points in the first half as the Cougars took a 44-40 lead. The margin got to nine in the second half but Colorado used an 11-3 run to get back in the game. The Buffs finally got the lead, 74-73, on a pair of Wilson free throws with 2:52 to go.

After another Wilson free throw, Galderia made two at 2:01, fed Presley for a layup and made two more with 12 seconds to go to make it 79-75.

USC-OREGON ST

Oregon State roars past visiting USC, 58-48

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) — Sydney Wiese scored 17 points and Oregon State ran its Pac-12 Conference record at home to 7-0 by beating Southern California, 58-48 Sunday.

USC opened the game with a 6-0 run and the Trojans led by two after a low-scoring first half, 22-20. Oregon State grabbed the lead on a 3-pointer by Wiese with 12:09 left. Wiese drilled a second 3-pointer and Gabriella Hanson added a layup that put the Beavers ahead, 40-33.

Oregon State (17-9, 9-5 Pac-12) played 7 of its first 10 Pac-12 games on the road and now have won four straight games, the last three at home and all by double digit margins. The Beavers play at Washington State and Washington this week before playing their final two conference games at home against Arizona and Arizona State.

USC (16-10, 9-5) got 11 points from Cassie Herberts, the lone Trojan to reach double figure scoring.
