SEATTLE (AP) — Lauren Jackson has undergone surgery in Australia on her knee and Achilles tendon putting her status for the upcoming WNBA season with the Seattle Storm in question.
The Storm announced Jackson's surgery on Monday evening. The team said they were informed of Jackson's surgery earlier in the day. The surgery was to repair a torn meniscus in her right knee and a chronic problem in his left Achilles tendon. The team said they are still gathering information about Jackson's recovery timeline.
Jackson missed the entire 2013 WNBA season after undergoing surgery on her right hamstring in January 2013 for a chronic injury.
