GREEN BAY, Wis. - Former Seattle Seahawks receiver Koren Robinson is finishing a jail sentence in Wisconsin by serving the final 45 days on electronic monitoring and working at a local hospital.
Last August, Robinson was sentenced to 90 days in jail for fleeing police in Minnesota when he was with the Vikings. He's currently with the Green Bay Packers.
Officials say he served 45 days of the sentence at a jail near Minneapolis, and Monday became an inmate at the jail in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Captain Dave Konrath of the Brown County sheriff's department says Robinson is being allowed to finish the sentence on an electronic monitor because he is considered a minimum security risk. He will be allowed to rehabilitate a knee injury and work odd jobs at Bellin Health Care.
Konrath says Robinson is paying about 20 dollars a day for the monitor and has to routinely give jail officials a schedule of his activities.
Robinson played with the Seahawks from the 2001 through 2004 seasons. He played in 57 games, making 52 starts. He was a first-round draft choice of the Seahawks in 2001.
