Brief Description of Duties
KING 5 TV & Northwest Cable News are seeking a talented Weather Anchor to produce and deliver live, compelling weathercasts. Will be responsible for producing and delivering weathercasts for KING 5 Weekend Morning News as well as producing and delivering weathercasts for NorthWest Cable News. You must have the ability to gather, interpret, and deliver weather information using state-of-the-art weather technology across various distribution platforms including the internet, wireless, and digital channels.
Qualifications
College degree, preferably a meteorologist, with minimum two years weather anchor experience desired. Strong, dynamic on-air presence required. The ability to "tell" a weather story, work under intense deadlines, be a team player, and strong ad-lib skills are a must. Technical knowledge of Weather Central systems is preferred.
