Brief Description of Duties
Operate audio, lighting, and robotic camera equipment for live newscasts and pre-recorded segments in high stress breaking news environment. May also operate television equipment in on-air technical center (master control). Record and playback all shows and commercial break media. Operate satellite and microwave equipment for recording affiliate and national news service feeds. Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
Experience in audio operation for live broadcast preferred. Must be capable of determining high quality news both creatively and technically. Must be able to work under pressure, prioritize needs simultaneously, and be team oriented. Good computer skills required. Must be able to work a flexible shift and occasional overtime.
