Ed Muir
Meteorologist
Ed Muir is a meteorologist for NWCN. He is a native of the West Coast, spending his earliest years in Torrance and Redondo Beach, CA until moving as a youngster to Larchmont, NY.
Before joining NWCN, he worked in Albany, NY, for Capital News 9, also a 24-hour cable station; Portland, ME at WPXT and Tallahassee, FL at WCTV. He started his TV career at KEVN in Rapid City, SD.
Ed graduated from Hamilton College in Clinton, NY with a degree in English.
Ed loves all the things the Northwest offers no matter what the weather. When off the job, he enjoys skiing, hiking, biking and golfing, movies, live music and all kinds of spectator sports (indoor or outdoor).
