PORTLAND -- Two bicyclists standing on a Southeast Portland sidewalk were struck by a Jeep during a rollover crash, police said.
Officers responded just after 8 p.m. Monday to the crash at Southeast 92nd Avenue and Foster Road, said Portland police Sgt. Pete Simpson.
A van had run a red light and collided with the Jeep, causing it to roll over, Simpson said. The cyclists were waiting at a crosswalk when they were hit.
Both drivers and both bicyclists suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to nearby hospitals.
The driver of the van, 65-year-old Nang Nguyen, was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
