ALOHA, Ore. -- A pedestrian was hit by a suspected drunk driver Thursday afternoon while walking on an Aloha sidewalk, deputies said.

Janae Doby, 17, was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Witnesses said the BMW left the roadway after turning west onto Farmington Road, fish-tailing before losing control and striking Doby near 185th Avenue, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

The car then struck a power pole and the driver bolted from the car. He was caught a short distance away by two witnesses, deputies said.

Bradley Gray, 25, of Beaverton was accused of DUII, felony hit-and-run, third-degree assault, reckless endangering and reckless driving.

This was one of two pedestrian collisions Thursday afternoon on Farmington.
