SPOKANE -- Home sales in Spokane County are in line with national trends, which show it’s a good time to be a home seller.
The number of homes for sale is dropping, driving up prices almost 12-percent from a year ago. Inventory is down 14-percent from January 2012.
The new figures show the “Buyer’s Market” is changing over to a “Seller’s Market”, an indication that the economy is improving.
Sales of foreclosed or bank-owned homes are also down from this time last year.
