Police are searching for a man who grabbed a woman, pulled her into bushes and sexually assaulted her Friday night.

Police say at about 7 p.m., the victim was walking home from the Northgate Mall area when she was jumped by an unknown male and pulled into a weeded area. The victim fought with the man as he sexually assaulted her.

The suspect ran away.

The victim managed to walk home, and her roommate called police.

The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.

The suspect description:
 

  •  White male, 20-30 years old
  •  Very short (buzz-cut), light-colored hair
  •  Medium height and thin build
  •  The victim described him as looking “methy” with very bad teeth, sunken eyes and a wiry build.


Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the suspect is asked to call 911. Police say anonymous tips are welcome.
