SPOKANE, Wash. -- Thieves posed as movers Wednesday afternoon to rob a home in north Spokane.

Authorities confirmed that they are investigating a break-in at a house along east Everett near Northtown Mall. Police said the suspects backed up a U-Haul van to a home and began loading up items.

Officers said the thieves got away with one woman’s flat screen TV, tools and medication.

“My privacy is gone. It’s gone now, said Mary Ritchie, “I don't know what to think.”

Officers said the thieves loaded up Ritchie’s belongings while neighbors watched in confusion. However one neighbor, Jenni Bevins, knew that there was no way Ritchie was moving. Bevins called 911, but the thieves took off before officers arrived at the scene.

Ritchie told KREM 2 News that she thinks the suspect is an acquaintance.

“I want him arrested so bad. Nobody should be able to get away with this,” said Ritchie.

She gave police a name of the acquaintance but no arrests have been made so far.
