SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -- Authorities released the name of a man accused of stabbing someone outside of Hooters last Saturday.
Spokane Valley Sheriff's Deputies are asking for help locating William J. Lawrence. The victim indentified the 33-year-old as his attacker.
Lawrence currently has an active 1st Degree Assault warrant from the incident with a $200,000 bond. Anyone with information as to Lawrence's whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Ricketts in the Major Crimes Unit at 509-477-6646.
The victim suffered four stab wounds according to authorities. He told the deputy that he saw an old acquaintance at the casino and asked him to go outside. The victim believed that Lawrence wanted to work out issues from the past, but the suspect pulled out a folding knife.
Deputies viewed surveillance video and verified that the victim's story was true.
Lawrence already has seven felony convictions that consist of firearms and robbery convictions according to authorities. Deputies said Lawrence is also under active community custody through Washington State Department of Corrections.
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for viable information.
