BOISE -- Several people were taken to the hospital after a three-car crash at the intersection of Highway 55 and Hill Road this afternoon.
Officials tell us the crash happened around 4 p.m. and that all lanes were blocked while emergency crews responded.
An officer on scene said that several passengers had to be extricated from one of the vehicles. Their injuries are not life-threatening.
An ambulance arrived on scene and did take some patients to the hospital. It is unknown how many people were hurt or the extent of their injuries.
At 5:30 p.m., tow trucks were removing the damaged cars from the crash scene.
Shortly before 6 p.m. the scene was cleared and traffic was flowing normally again.
