JEROME -- Interstate 84 east of Twin Falls near Rupert is back open after a multi-vehicle accident.
Idaho State Police say just before 3:30 p.m. Friday, Amber Lidell-Thomas, 23, of Declo, was in a 1998 Toyota RAV 4 broken down in the right-hand lane of the freeway on the Snake River bridge, when a 2005 Peterbuilt truck hit the back of her car.
Katie Quinn, 27, of Boise, was driving a 2001 Oldsmobile Alero by the crash in the left-hand lane when a 2006 Volvo truck driven by Oleg Delekh, 34, of Meridian, tried to move into the lane hitting Quinn and the 2005 Peterbuilt.
That's when a 2011 Peterbuilt Truck, driven by Keith Forsgren, 50, of Idaho Falls hit the back of the Volvo truck.
The side of the Volvo's trailer was ripped open causing the onions it was hauling to spill onto the roadway.
ISP says the eastbound lanes were blocked for just over four hours, while crews removed the vehicles and onions.
Police also say that everyone was wearing their seatbelts and there were no injuries.
