MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE -- Members of the 366th Force Support Squadron have been honored with the Air Force's prestigious Maj. Gen Eugene L. Eubank Award.

The award honors the 366th Force Support Squadron as the best force support squadron in the USAF's Air Combat Command.

The members, who are in charge of facilities like the fitness center, Gunfighter Club, base hotel, movie theater, and education center, are critical in supporting the pilots, mechanics, firefighters, security forces, and other military staff on base.

What's more: the 366th FSS will now compete for the title of best force support squadron in the Air Force

"I'm just so pleased and proud to be the commander of this FSS," said Lt. Col. Kenneth Dewlen, 366th Force Support Squadron commander. "I know I'm a little biased but the personnel on Mountain Home Air Force Base have a gold mine in this FSS because we are number one in ACC."

The Eubank award was named after Maj. Gen Eubank, a highly decorated pilot who served more than 34 years in the Air Force. Maj. Gen. Eubank recognized the importance of morale and welfare for America's fighting forces to further the overall Air Force mission.
