SPOKANE, Wash.-- Two Gonzaga University students are headed to Indiana Saturday on a free trip to watch the men’s basketball team take on Butler University.

It is thanks to their creativity and fellow fans.  Gonzaga’s Kennel Club hosted an online video contest for students to show off their school spirit.  Their fellow fans were then asked to vote on their favorite.

To enter the contest, competitors had to be current Gonzaga students, Kennel Club members, and had to show the current Kennel Club t-shirt.  Fans then picked their favorite videos by liking, commenting, and sharing them on Facebook.  The makers of the top two videos, sophomores Aly Slamkowski and Sara Wendland, were rewarded with the free trip to the game at Butler.

Both women will join members of the Kennel Club Board and two university advisors on the trip.

To watch all the videos submitted, visit the Gonzaga Kennel Club Facebook page.
