VANCOUVER, Wash. – A Vancouver man who was active in a local church youth group was arrested Tuesday on federal child pornography charges.

Bradley Gilliam, 24, made his initial court appearance Wednesday and is charged with possession of and receipt and distribution of child pornography, said Andrew Munoz with U.S Immigration and Customs Enforcement in a news release to KGW.

Gilliam allegedly used the username “Bllover69” to share illicit images of children, including toddlers over the Internet.

Homeland security agents and local police tracked the IP address used by “Bllover69” to the Vancouver home of Gilliam, where on June 7, they seized a laptop and digital storage devices, Munoz said.

Analysts found thousands of images and video files of children engaged in sexually explicit conduct. Investigators also learned Gilliam was enrolled in courses to become a child sex abuse counselor and he was a volunteer with the Camas Grace church youth group.

Gilliam was immediately suspended from participating in youth activities after authorities notified the church, Munoz said.

Gilliam has a detention hearing scheduled for Monday at 3 p.m. in Tacoma, Wash.

Anyone with information related to child exploitation was urged to call Homeland Security Investigations at 360-693-7712.
