SPOKANE -- In less than an hour, Washington State Patrol responded to two wrecks in the same immediate area on Highway 395 south of Deer Park.

The first crash happened around 3:15 p.m. Tuesday in between Wildrose and Halfmoon Road, about 6 miles south of Deer Park. The wreck involved two vehicles. The injuries sustained in this crash were non-life threatening. The wreck partially blocked the NB lanes for about an hour.

The second crash happened around 4:00 p.m. on Highway 395 near milepost 172. Troopers said a man was driving 55 mph when he hit some slush, spun out and rolled over. The man was the only person in the car. He was not hurt. Police said alcohol was not involved.
