A woman was killed in a hit and run Tuesday morning near North Bend.

It happened around 3 a.m. when a group was traveling in a car just east of Snoqualmie Casino. A King County Sheriff’s Office spokeperson said there was an argument. Both the driver and the victim got out of the car and walked in separate directions on 394th Place SE north of North Bend Way.

The driver eventually went back to the car and the group drove around looking for the woman. They found her in a ditch near the 10200 block of 394th Place SE. She had been hit and killed by another vehicle.

Detectives said debris at the scene, including a left front headlight, indicate the vehicle was a full size pickup truck. Detectives believe there will be significant damage to the left front of the truck.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at (206) 296-3311.
