SPOKANE, Wash. -- Avista issued a warning Friday for their customers.
The utility company has received several reports of people prowling around homes in Spokane, and they’re claiming to be Avista employees when confronted.
Avista says all employees will wear clothes with the Avista logo and carry a company ID.
Homeowners can call 800-227-9187 to verify an employee’s identity.
